Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the newly constructed ‘Duty Bhawan’ under the Central Vista project in New Delhi on August 6. The building will house offices of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, the Department of Personnel and Training, and other key departments. The inauguration is scheduled for 6 PM on Today.
What is the specialty of Duty Building?
• The first building to be completed will be named Kartavya Bhawan No.3.
• The new building has been constructed on Janpath, New Delhi.
• The building has been built over an area of 1,50,000 square metres, and has ten floors, including two basements and the ground floor.
• The building has parking for 600 vehicles.
• 24 big conference rooms, and 26 small conference rooms.
